4) Good at configuring the Standby databases 
5) Should be strong in Query tuning 
6) Should have knowledge on 11g RAC 
7) Setup and maintain documentation and standards 
8) Plan growth and changes (capacity planning). 
9) Do general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams

* Manage Database changes requests as part of development iteration.
* Work with application support team to troubleshoot application failures related to database access and performance issues.
Extensive hands on experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting of large/complex Oracle database servers, extensive experience with SQL and PL/SQL development and debugging for enterprise level applications.
* Working knowledge of shell scripting is a must.
* Strong experience and working knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c Oracle Data-guard, Oracle Grid Control, Oracle RAC, and Oracle RMAN.·
