ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains and enhances the integrity, security, and performance of the database operating environment.
Participate in installations and upgrades of Oracle systems partnering with the Basis System Administrators.
Optimize database performance, provide support and manage all backups, system copies/refreshes, and recoveries.
Provide capacity planning.
Is developing experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business acumen.

Installation Configuration and Administration of Oracle 9i/10g/11g
Experience in Disaster recovery, backup and recovery with RMAN
Experience in database migration/upgrades and patch management
Expertise in Database Performance /Tuning, Query Optimization, Stats Pack and AWR/ADDM
Experience supporting mission-critical system and ensuring 24x7 availability of production system.
Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issue resolution techniques
Experience working on UNIX operating systems, HP-UX a plus
Experience writing Shell scripts to automate, monitoring, perform maintenance operations.
Ability to work with 3rd party vendors to implement technology initiatives and resolve problems/issues/bugs.
Good understanding of RAC, ASM, Dataguard and Clusterware a plus
Installation Configuration of Grid Control a plus

· If the candidate is getting reject during the final assessment even after multiple sessions, then those candidate will get only stipend for two months and if they don’t get deployed even after two months then they will not get any benefits from the company, stipend will not be paid after two months.
