 Skills Required:

Minimum 2.5 + years in ORACLE DBA with hands on experience version 9i/10g/11g.

• Good Hands on experience in 10g & 11g Oracle databases.

• Must have experience in RMAN, Dataguard, Streams, Sharplex, Physical and Logical Standby databases.

• Good Communication skills and good performance tuning knowledge

• He should have experience on RAC.

• He should have good hands-on experience in installation & configuration.

• He should also have experience on provisioning.

Job description

• Fulfill requests and resolve incidents within SLAs

• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft infrastructure environment of SQL Servers

• Review service related reports (e.g: database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs

• Respond to database related alerts and escalations

• Analyze customer requirements and provide solutions utilizing a full life cycle methodology

• Work with application development teams to determine strategic solutions to recurring problems

• Proactively review monitoring systems, take action on alerts, and review/revise thresholds/alerts to ensure Database infrastructure stability.

• Perform thorough root cause analysis, best practice troubleshooting techniques and processes, and procedures as defined by hardware/software vendors and personal experience.
