We are in lookout for DB Admin Oracle with min 3 - 6 years of experience for GAVS Technologies Pvt Ltd.
Base Location : Chennai.
Job Description:
Administers database servers, tuning and supporting Oracle related application development.
* Availability for 24x7 production Oracle database support, proactively monitoring the database instances operation, including backup and recovery.
* Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
* Manage Database changes requests as part of development iteration.
* Work with application support team to troubleshoot application failures related to database access and performance issues.
Extensive hands on experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting of large/complex Oracle database servers, extensive experience with SQL and PL/SQL development and debugging for enterprise level applications.
* Working knowledge of shell scripting is a must.
* Strong experience and working knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c Oracle Data-guard, Oracle Grid Control, Oracle RAC, and Oracle RMAN.·
